Job Description
§ Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
§ Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased as per provided SOPs / guidelines / policies
§ Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
§ Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc
§ Regular follow-ups with the clients for regarding the quotations
§ Seek new suppliers based on best price and quality
§ Ensure most cost effective methods of acquiring goods
§ Any other tasks / jobs assigned by the immediate in-charge
Qualification & Experience
16 years of education in relevant field
2 – 3 years of experience in similar role / position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
Attention to detail
