| Job Description: |
Software, Web and Mobile
- Plan test schedules or strategies following project scope or delivery dates.
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
- Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
- Translate product specifications into QA test scripts to be implemented.
- Record software defects and track them through the test life cycle to resolve.
- Isolate conditions to recreate testing problems and support problem resolution through core product knowledge.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases.
- Define product acceptance criteria with product owners and development team.
- Offer test plans and test cases for testing responsibility spanning multiple concurrent projects.
- Implement test plans and summarize testing status within the project team.
- Coordinate with the Senior team on process improvement.
- Derive test plan requirements from product requirements documents.
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
