We are looking for a Linux Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.

Responsibilities

• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers


• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications


• Keep an eye out for needed updates


• Ensure network security and connectivity


• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses


• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords


• Resolve problems reported by end user


• Define network policies and procedures


• Specify system requirements and design solutions


• Research and make recommendations on server system administration

Requirements

• Must know how to setup servers from scratch with excellent practices


• Must have the knowledge of linux and unuix based servers


• must have experience in script writing in bash/python for task automation


• Proven experience in a network administrator role


• Ability to set up and configure a secure in-house server


• Great at organizing, prioritising and multitasking


• Train team members on insallation/setup of new hardware or software.


• Research and recommend best practices for system administration tasks.


• Must have software house experience to setup server for hosting multiple tools for internal/external users


• Good to have to have any knowledge about CCNA/CCNP, devops/sysops, trainings/certifications


• 3 years experience must in well known software house / networking company
