Job Description:

To have overall responsibility for ensuring that project activities taken under ARC programme are developed with detail operational plans and budget for smooth implementation.

Developing systems for sharing learning’s/information through regular monitoring and reviews, process documentation, providing programmatic input to team members and focusing on planning, design and implementation in their respective areas of work as per agreed annual plans and budgets.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead, Develop, Plan, implement, coordinate and manage critical paths/milestones and monitoring mechanisms for ARC project

  • Ensure high quality and timely production of all deliverables

  • Organize, lead and Coordinate the project implementation meetings

  • Ensure evaluation process for the project is conducted smoothly

  • Serve as the primary contact, ensuring appropriate liaison with the project sponsor; prepare all internal and external reports in accordance with the contribution agreements

  • Supervise the project team and ensure quality of work

  • Monitor budget and cash flows

  • Develop and give presentations on the project at internal and external level as and when required

  • Monitor the implementation methodology for its efficiency in-terms of inputs and verifiable results

  • Suggest improvements to the guidelines and training materials in-terms of community and stakeholder needs

  • Represent SPO at different forums as and when required

 Human Resource Management:

  • Ensure effective HR management for smooth functioning of the team with performance objectives setting, staff performance appraisal and job profiles for the staff

  • Provide support to team members and partners/allies in smooth implementation of projects and developing required skills

  • Ensure proper and quality reporting from team members and meet donor’s reporting deadlines.

Coordination Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate closely with other programme teams at regional and NC level for building synergies and affective programme delivery.

  • Build liaison between relevant field, region and National Centre level

  • Coordinate closely with MEAL and incorporate technical input, feedback and suggestion for further improvement.

  • In consultation with supervisor, coordinate project work internal and external level

  • Follow organizational policies and guidelines.
