Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for managing the successful implementation and management of branchless banking applications (Mobilizer platform, mobile apps, middleware, associated APIs and channels) in terms of understanding, maintaining, and improving the technical architecture, design, workflows, integration touch points, and functionality among the various applications residing in the branchless banking platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain ownership and in depth technical understanding of the branchless banking applications suite
  • Develop and maintain connections with branchless banking/digital channel technology providers, peers in the industry, and relevant stakeholders
  • Explore and recommend new digital applications/channel options, ideas or improvements to build on the existing platform
  • Explore and contact vendors for desired solutions; evaluate solutions and provide technical recommendations
  • Coordination within IT team, vendor(s), relevant stakeholders for deployment of applications
  • Coordination with other departments for design, functionality reviews, testing, training, etc.
  • Conduct periodic reviews for upgrades, enhancements to the applications/channels from functional and technical perspective
  • Own the change management process for Live applications and channels
  • Ensure proactive and collaborative management to prevent delays and bottlenecks; escalate issues timely for resolution
  • Manage pilot runs and share outcomes for further reviews and action
  • Manage conversion of pilots to full scale roll outs in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless operation and availability of branchless banking applications
  • Manage service level agreements and performance reviews with associated vendors
