Job Description
· Installing and configuring computer
· Hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
· Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.
· Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.
· Checking computer equipment for electrical safety.
· Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
· Ensures server performance and maintains applications on servers.
· Coordinates and works with outside vendors to resolve problems and issues with hardware and softwareproducts used by the company.
· Provides technical support to troubleshoot network and server issues.
· Manages access to network resources including network accounts, mailboxes, etc.
· Plans, deploys, and documents new servers, printers, devices, and services.
· Analyze network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function.
· Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.
· Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment.
· Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment.
· Evaluate local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes. Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
· Install and configure wireless networking equipment.
· Install network software, including security or firewall software.
Specification
· BS/Diploma in computer engineering.
· Hardware/Network Troubleshoot.
· Able to work under pressure.
· Technical Skills.
· Performs other tasks as per directions
