Job Description: |
- To be fully responsible for procurement function, ensuring timely supply of raw material, goods required by various departments including daily supply of raw material to kitchen (for meals), in accordance with specified standards of quality given by Production and Quality department; also ensuring best possible competitive prices;
- To establish, maintain, implement and monitor SOPs for supply of raw materials and goods (procurement processes);
- To establish, maintain, implement and monitor SOPs for vendor selection;
- To establish, maintain and update record of all purchases including vendor name and address, rates at which material is supplied, and dates of supply;
- To present comparative figures mentioning vendor name and rate (of previous supply) to MD/CEO for approval of vendor and rates for subsequent supplies;
- To be fully responsible for smooth operation of raw material store; and ensure that materials kept in store is identifiable, stacked properly, has rodent-free environment, hygienically acceptable, and maintained at specified temperature (if required);
- To establish, maintain, implement and monitor SOPs for smooth operation of raw material store in coordination with Production and Quality (P&Q) department, ensuring timely and efficient supply of raw material as and when required by P&Q department;
- To be responsible for Material Resource Planning in active coordination with Production department
- To be responsible for presence of staff on duty reporting to you;
- To maintain proper coordination and liaison with HR department, ensuring timely provision of duty rosters at specific periods of time, selection of human resources, provision of annual/periodic evaluation reports of employees for increment purpose;
- To ensure discipline and compliance with company policies by staff reporting to you;
- To discharge any other function assigned by MD/CEO.
