Position Purpose:

To provide assistance in grants related matters in SAP Grants Management Grantee Module (GM-GTE) for the Office of Sponsored Programmes & Research (OSPR).

Main Responsibilities:

• Creation & maintenance of grants in GM-GTE, including creation of master data, uploading budgets, creating and uploading derivation rules and other grant related tasks.
• Approval of Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO) and hiring of project staff as per the budget guidelines.
• Assisting in generating financial reports from SAP for internal and external customers.
• Responsible for budget management in SAP.
• Assist in providing Budget Utilization Reports (BUR) to LUMS’ researchers.
• Activation of Release Strategies and providing assistance in raising PRs.
• Coordinate with internal audit team for Audit assignments as and when required.
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports and resolve issues arising during this process.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by senior executives.

Work Schedule:

Business hours may extend into the evenings and weekends depending on workload. Flexibility & commitment is a must.
