| Job Description: |
The role is Inventory Analyst, and the focus of the role will be on managing our inventory that is held on a min/max strategy. Some of the specific tasks that would be expected involve:
- Daily review and reporting on inventory managed through a min/max strategy to include:
- Assessing any inventory on min/max that exceeds 15 days
- Determining if min/max needs to be adjusted down
- Communicating with account team on depletion plans
- Requesting return authorization (RPO) when appropriate to return items to vendor
- Identifying other configs that may have use for inventory that is aging
- Daily review of min/max inventory that is out of stock
- Assessing if this is an anomaly or if settings need to be increased to meet SLAs
- Communicating with sales team on needs
- Reviewing and recommending approvals or adjustments of requests for min/max allocations to include:
- Analyzing run rates
- Surveying like items in other configs
- Checking availability in disty
- Lead time verification
- Communicating with requester when additional information is needed
