| Job Description: |
- Perform Ultrasonic, visual, testing, dye penetration and identification of all shafts received from customer prior to re-shelling,
- Responsible to perform testing of all imported shafts
- Ensure size of new shafts as per demand
- Inform Import office in case of defects observed during NDT of imported shafts
- Perform Non-destructive testing (Ultrasonic tests, Die-penetrate test and magnetic partial tests) of all components in house and on site
- Responsible to execute ultrasonic testing during manufacturing process (where required by customer)
- Perform Magnetic Particle and liquid penetrant testing during manufacturing process as per the manufacturing Quality Plan
- Coordinate with third party for NDT inspection and Coordinate with foreign clients for Non-Destructive testing matters
- Prepare UT reports and allot a unique UT number to each shaft
- Ensure punching of UT number after performing ultrasonic testing
- Prepare and verify Non-destructive test reports and also share with marketing department
- Keep all the NDT related record properly maintained and updated
