Shahzad Textile Mills requires an Assistant Manager - Sourcing & Supply Chain (Raw Materials) for our Socks & Hosiery Division with ample opportunities of learning and high prospects of growth linked with performance & commitment. Candidates with some relevent experience in Socks or Garments Industry will be preferred. Candidates should be at least Graduates with good communication skills in English & Urdu. Proficiency in MS-Office and other related computer applications is a must. The position is based in Sheikhupura and free transportation will be available from our Head Office in Gulberg-Lahore to the factory site. Job responsibilities include:
- Implementing SOPs and KPIs within department
- Raw Materials & Packaging Items Sourcing
- Coordinating with Merchandising & Knitting R&D to get required Bill of Materials
- Price Negotiation and Terms/Condition Settlement
- Coordinating with Store to Keep Track of Existing Stock and Replenishment Needs
- Issuance/Processing of Supply Orders
- Manage local & foreign suppliers and expand the network
- Managing deliveries efficiently & economically
- Support to Product Develpment Proccess Flow & Management
- Knowledge of Textiles, Particularly Yarns and Chemicals
- Knowledge of Packaging Materials
- Knowledge of Import Regulations and Duties
- Team Building and Management of Supply Chain
