| Job Description: |
COMSATS Internet Services (CIS), Pakistan's pioneer ISP, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates, for appointment on contract basis against the post of Manager (Software) for Islamabad Office. Details of the position and placement is as under.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Architecture Design:
- Produce end-to-end solution design:
- Engineer business process to be simple and efficient.
- Ensure great customer experience.
- Assign fit-for-purpose technology solution.
- Define solution roadmap, recommend transition architecture to bridge current state and future state.
- Ensure key initiatives adhere to design, and initiate refresh when significant business and/or technology strategy emerges.
- Collaborate with application architects and portfolio architects to assure solutions could be suitably translated into effectual and robust implementation.
- Define, enhance, and maintain principles and standards to keep pace with industry and technology trends–and ensure consistency in architectural decisions.
- Conduct architecture evaluation of risk systems and verify implementation is consistent with the agreed architecture design.
- Stay in-synch with enterprise architecture team – provide feedback on standards, and assure constant compliance with enterprise architecture and design framework.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, listening—and high proficiency in packaging disparate information into a cohesive story.
- Comfortable in challenging conventional methods and thinking.
- Passion for learning and curiosity; high degree of self awareness, attitude of learning and growth.
