| Job Description: |
Job Responsibilities:
- Asses, plan, implement and evaluate patient care pre-op and post-op based on individual needs
-
Record visual acuity.
-
Perform different diagnostic tests.
-
Perform low vision assessment.
-
Perform refraction (subjective +objective) & A-scan biometry.
-
Assist in B-scan ultrasonography.
-
Check patients existing glasses & assess for need of new glasses.
-
Perform different visual field tests.
-
Perform Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT) scan and corneal scan.
-
Assist doctor on refractions (subjective +objective), slit lamp examination applanation tonometry indirect ophthalmoscopy, A-scan biometry, B-scan ultrasonography.

Assist in patient handling and scheduling.

Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment.

Receive call back from lab and follow read-back for critical test results of patients.

Follow departmental policy, procedures & SOPs.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

- Must have the ability to show empathy when working with patients.
- Ability to find solutions to problems.
- Must be able to give meticulous attention to minor details.
