The Digital Health Solutions Lead will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of innovative digital health solutions within the organization. This individual will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure that digital tools, platforms, and applications are effectively integrated into healthcare workflows, improving both patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital health, healthcare IT, and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on driving transformation through innovation.

Technology Strategy Development:

• Global Health Tech Awareness: Stay at the forefront of global health technology trends and innovations, including advancements in artificial intelligence, telemedicine, wearable devices, data analytics, and interoperability standards.
• Industry Benchmarking: Assess the current state of healthcare IT adoption across leading institutions in Pakistan and benchmark the hospital’s IT capabilities against both national and global leaders.
• Comprehensive Technology Roadmap: Develop a detailed technology roadmap outlining the hospital\\\'s short-term and long-term IT strategies. This roadmap should address key areas such as system enhancements, technology upgrades, application lifecycle management, and adoption of emerging technologies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Innovative Technology Adoption: Recommend and drive the implementation of innovative technologies that can improve patient outcomes, operational efficiencies, and overall service delivery, ensuring alignment with the hospital\\\'s goals.
• Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to measure the effectiveness of IT applications and use this information to refine strategies and optimize resource allocation.

Technology Systems Analysis and Vendor Management:

• Lead the end-to-end management of key technology platforms across the hospital, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other clinical and administrative systems.
• Collaborate with department heads, clinicians, and executive leadership to gather and analyze technology requirements that support operational goals.
• Oversee the vendor selection process, managing the evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring of application vendors.
• Lead the development and execution of RFPs (Requests for Proposals), ensuring all vendor solutions meet the hospital\'s functional, technical, and compliance requirements.

Implementation Planning, Management & Systems Integration:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for technology implementation, from initial setup to post-launch support.
• Ensure that all systems are seamlessly integrated, enabling efficient data flow between clinical, administrative, and financial systems.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to establish a robust, scalable, and secure technology environment.
• Oversee system testing, quality assurance, user training, and go-live readiness, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.

Team Management & Collaboration:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technology professionals, including application analysts, developers, and support staff.
• Foster a culture of collaboration between IT, clinical, administrative, and operational teams to ensure that technology solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce IT governance processes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

 Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in implementing digital health solutions, such as telemedicine, patient engagement tools, remote monitoring, or health data platforms.
• Deep understanding of healthcare systems, including EHRs, hospital information systems, and healthcare regulations.
• Familiarity with emerging healthcare technologies, such as AI, IoT, and blockchain in healthcare.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading digital transformation initiatives in healthcare.

Preferred Certifications: CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems), PMP (Project Management Professional), Digital Health or Health Informatics certifications would be a plus.
