Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Showroom Manager to oversee the operations of our flagship showroom and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The Showroom Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the LOFT Design showroom, including daily operations, staff management, sales performance, and customer service. This role requires someone with a passion for interiors and a deep understanding of luxury retail, who can maintain the aesthetic and brand ethos of LOFT Design while driving retail success.

Key Responsibilities:

Showroom Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations of the showroom, ensuring it is visually appealing and fully stocked at all times.
  • Maintain showroom appearance according to brand standards, including managing displays and ensuring products are perfectly presented.
  • Ensure all furniture is well-maintained and arrange for repairs or replacements as necessary.

Sales and Customer Experience:

  • Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer service, offering expert knowledge on furniture design and materials.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, assisting them in choosing the right furniture and providing personalized design advice.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics, KPIs, and customer feedback to improve overall showroom performance.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and efficiently.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, train, and motivate the showroom staff to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign tasks to the team and provide guidance and coaching as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear goals and providing actionable feedback.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for display and sales, working closely with suppliers to replenish stock.
  • Coordinate inventory audits, manage stock transfers, and ensure all inventory records are up to date.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and operational updates to management.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behaviors to provide recommendations on product selection and showroom strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in luxury or furniture retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics and showroom merchandising.
  • Proven sales experience and ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory, coordinate logistics, and ensure showroom efficiency.
  • Proficiency in retail software and MS Office Suite.
