Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
  • Employ effective teaching methodologies and integrate current evidence-based practices into instruction.
  • Supervise and evaluate student performance in preclinical laboratory, clinical settings, and academic assessments.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the dental curriculum.
  • Mentor and advise dental students.
• Research and Scholarship:
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in a specialized area of dentistry.
  • Seek and secure extramural funding through grant applications (with mentorship and support).
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed dental and related journals.
  • Present research at national and international conferences.
  • Engage in scholarly activities to advance knowledge in the field.
• Clinical Practice (if applicable):
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a specialized area of dentistry, adhering to ethical and professional standards.
  • Supervise and guide dental students and residents in clinical procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the clinical setting.
• Service and Administration:
  • Serve on departmental, school/college, and university committees as assigned.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative tasks.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching, research, and clinical skills.
  • Participate in outreach and community service activities related to oral health.
