Job Description: |
Receptionist works on front desk of hospital. They greet patients and visitors, answer phones, make appointments, perform registration of patients and provide general information about the hospital and maintain records.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Greet the patients with a considerate and polite attitude.
- Ensure patient details are up to date, including phone numbers, emergency contacts, address, cultural background, nationality card numbers.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
- Scheduling appointments and keep those appointments on time.
- Book, modify, and cancel patient’s appointment according to guidelines.
- Answering the telephone and answering any inquiries..
- Using a computer, hospital software, and other technology to keep information organized and up-to-date.
- Provide necessary information to the patients regarding the treatment services offered in the hospital and entertain all kinds of queries personally or by telephone.
Qualifications:
- Matric/Intermediate
- Computer course / 1 year on job training
- Written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in stressful situation, computer skills, Time management .
- 1-2 years of experience.
