We require a detail-oriented Accountant with solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial operations. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations:

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in compliance with company policies

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Prepare and submit monthly tax filings (sales tax, withholding tax)

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash positions

Reporting & Compliance:

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements

• Support annual audit processes with documentation preparation

• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and financial regulations

Inventory & Cost Tracking:

• Monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold

• Assist in physical stock verifications

• Prepare periodic cost analysis reports

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Part-qualified CA/ACCA candidates encouraged to apply

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience

• Experience in manufacturing or the food processing sector is preferred

• Familiarity with inventory accounting is advantageous

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)

• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)

• Basic knowledge of tax regulations in Pakistan

• Good communication abilities in English and Urdu
